A sport that started in Boomi NSW has definately found its home here in Queensland at the Sarina Show Grounds.

The event was originally run by the Sarina Rotary Club. In 1988 the hillside definitely looked very different to it does now. At the very first meet there was a massive pole tent set up where presentations were held if you head over to our gallery you will see some images from the early days.

The cars have also changed with times. No longer do we have hoppers on the back of cars to get them through the bog holes. The cars are now much more advance.

The hill might of changed and the cars may look different but the heart of mud racing reminds the same. Where everyone helps each other out and support the greater community.
